Aston Villa will be looking to secure a win in the home leg of their Europa Conference League quarter-final, playing LOSC Lille this Thursday evening.
Unai Emery’s men will be hopeful to grab a head start with the advantage of home turf, with Lille in good form, winning 3 of their last 5 fixtures.
Lille’s most recent win came against Marseille, a dominating win in Ligue 1. Centre-forward Jonathan David could cause threat to Villa and will want to add to his 3 goals already secured in the competition.
Villa come off the back of a 3-3 draw against Brentford in the Premier League, which was a frustrating result for the Midlands side but provided plenty of positives to take into their upcoming European challenge, with on-form striker Ollie Watkins finding the back of the net twice during the game.
Aston Villa’s European journey continues, kick off is 8pm.
